Now, I hate the Cowboys (Go SKINS!), but where the hell is Jason Witten?

Ok - I hate the Cowboys (Go Colts) but Witten is the best TE in the league this year. Watch. I agree sporthog1022 - good call.

There are a TON of the leagues best that arent on there than should be.

Jason Witten should be a given, along with Hines Ward,Matt Hasselbeck, Steven Jackson and Matt Light. I don't think Brady should be 1 either. Neither should Manning. They should be two and three respectively while Tomlinson should rain on top. He is by a far the best player of our time (football wise) even though that it is given that Manning and Brady are shoe in HOF. Randy Moss at 4? I don't dig that either.

No Eli either? Wtf... this list is horrible.

Yeah, this list isn't the best. A lot of it is inconsistent. Here are my thoughts:

Marion Williams #6 best player? After one great season (albeit amazingly great season). At six is a bit early, I would've gone with a guy who have done it longer. He would've been better a bit lower

Steve Smith, I would've had him lower, because he just can't stay on the field. Yeah, he's great and had a triple crown season but he needs to stay away from injuries. Until then guys below him are better (Wayne, C.Johnson, A.Johnson, Edwards..)

Patrick Willis at #43. Ok if you have Williams at #6 you got to have Willis better than 43, it doesn't make sense.

Julius Peppers: Before last season started, he was considered by many to be one of the best defensive ends(if not the best). Now after one medicore season, he's not the top 50?

Bob Sanders and Ed Reed: Maybe I'm nitpicking, but if Sanders is at 7, how can Reed be all the way down at 23?

Trufant  over a guy like Newman or Mathis.

Guys who could be hit or miss on other peoples list (Tatupu, Welker, Hester)

No mention of: Kerry Rhodes, Joe Thomas (would've won OROY if not for Peterson), Mention K.Williams but not J.Williams or P.Williams. Where is Torry Holt?????

Actually my bad S.Smith is not as injury prone as i made him sound, but some WR below him are bettter.

I can't believe I'm about to agree with a Skins fan (Go Giants!) about praising a Dallas player, but Witten is definitely the best TE in the league right now.  He might not have the numbers of a Tony Gonzalez or a Kellen Winslow, but the guy makes all the catches and he's a better run and pass blocker than both of them.  It seems like when it comes to TEs, they're rated more like WRs than TEs.

I agree that Jason Witten got shafted on this list. He isnt the only one. How Prisco formulated this list is not very apparent.
Another player that isnt on this list is T.J. houshmenzaga...houshminzeta...housh
manzogo? Anyway T.J.'s team mate, fellow WR Chad Jackson is on this list, even though he didnt have as good of a year last year as T.J.
There is also a sever lack of offensive linemen in general in this list, even though the NFL's three top season regular teams last year (Pats, Colts, and Cowboys) were all so successful mostly because of their O-line solidity.
I think this list is just supposed to be a pat on the back to players Prisco favors, and shouldnt ve viewed as an all or nothing determination of how good other teams / players are.
