I think he needs to go, I think that if we get rid of him that we can bring up Denard Span or Jason Pridie cause monroe doesnt hit for avg and these other 2 have potential, i think we need 2 resignt kubel to like a 3 year contract.

What do u guys think?

I think you need to work on your spelling and punctuation.

First off I am a huge fan of Delmon Young.  K that is out of the way.

I disagree with you on trading Monroe.  He has 6 hr in 123 ABs.  We have too many guys that just get singles.  We need to get runs in.  I think Monroe should get more ABs.  And Kubel has been dare I say warm/hot lately.

Here is my solution......Kubel split time in LF with Young (til Young pulls his head out of his butt) then have Monroe DH when Kubel is in left.  That will give Young a few days off to relax, gives Kubel his ABs, and gets Monroe some more swings.

Everrett, Lamb, and Punto have to go.  What is going to happen when Tolbert comes back?????  Send down Casilla???  Better not.

Why does Punto have to go?  So far it seems to me that Punto has done a good job when healthy for us.  He can play all 3 INF spots and even some CF, while his bat has looked closer to the Punto of '06 then '07.  Correct me if im wrong but i think hes hitting 2.70 something.  Thats not to bad for a defensive wizard.

As for Monroe i gues its a push for me, he has some power, but will oly hit .250.  If we can find someone to trade him for then yes other wise he has done a OK job.

Interesting thought, trade Craig Monroe and AAA's Jose Morales to the Marlins for SS Robert Andino

Of course cut Lamb and Everett!

Pridie doesn't do much for me and Span is at least a year away. I like having a veteran bat off the bench. Monroe even has a little pop.

I don't believe anyone would want him. Kubel, though could go with Boof for a couple prospects. Then my new trade idea.  Kevin Slowey and Brian Buscher for Jake Peavy and a top prospect. Slowey is young and has great talent.  Home runs have always been his problem. In Petco park, the ball doesn't sail very well.  Slowey is also a decent hitter.  Buscher would become a much needed third basemen, which they have had a problem with.  Like Buscher, but we have talent that can fill until Luke Hughes takes that job next spring.  Between Punto, Lamb, Macri, Tolbert, and Clark we can fill that spot.  Think of this starting line up after the all star break. Peavy, Liriano, Baker, Blackburn, and Livan.  Perkins next year.  That is one sweet starting rotation.  Peavy was the CY Young award winner last year.  Would be like getting a Johan quality person back in the rotation.

these are some really stupid ideas. man. you all need to smarten up.

First Off.....Jason Kubel and Craig Monroe have platooned very well together to make our DH spot a real effective position this year.  combined, these two players are batting .238 avg, with 16 homers, and 59 RBI's.  I would rather keep Monroe, he is a clutch hitter.

secondly.....Kevin Slowey will be a cornerstone of this rotation for the next 3-5 years. he is a durable arm, and is pitching well this year.

thirdly....Brian Buscher is the future at 3B for the Twins and he is starting to hit this year.

man  o man.....you all really jumping the gun, the twins are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now.  this team for the past 2 months (60 games) has averaged 7.1 runs per game. and, the Twins are the best Clutch Hitting team (.315 avg) this season with 2 outs, and runners in scoring position.

I would not trade anyone on the active roster for anything. this team is awesome right now. dont mess with it.
