Appreciate the comments. God knows my Rebels can't be any worse than we were last year and during the past 3 years, too, under Orgeron. A bad, cheap hire who had NEVER been more than a DL coach & Recruiting coordinator.
THANKFULLY, though, Ole Miss administrators WOKE UP and finally smelled the coffee by putting out the necessary dollars to hire a bonafide, respectable, and successful Head Coach. (Had no other choice due to disenchanted fan base and pending huge decline in season ticket sales). Should and could have hired the RIGHT person in late 2004 after firing Cutcliffe (which WAS definitely the right thing to do then and would have still been so today---media, especially ESPN officials have absolutely no idea what they were talking about when they'd villify Ole Miss for firing him without EVER stating all the facts (such as Cutcliffe's insubordination, refusal to make changes to personnel, had been an asst at UT for some 17 yrs and was fortunate that Ole Miss hired him when we did b/c no one was seeking him out in 2004, either---all about timing. I have no regrets why Tub left Ole Miss then, either---we were TOO far behind the 8 ball in facilities, program success, etc, etc but have definitely made many facility improvements & positive changes since then with more still coming. Tuberville opened up the eyes of many, many Ole Miss fans.
All I ask is that you guys make it 7 in a row over Tuscalooserville and Nick "The Liar" Saban's stale bunch of jail bait pachyderms!!! (By far, my LEAST fav team in ALL of college football!!!)
Here's a GO WAR EAGLE chant & a HOTTY TODDY back at ya' via beautiful Seattle!!!
