Why dont we put Lamar Odom at Point Guard? -

	Guys I have a solution to all thisLamar Odom trade madness. Why doesnt Phil put Odom at the point and team him up at the backcourt position with Kobe? Odom can post up any Point Guard. On defense for sure the PG will not be able to penetrate. The opposing team will be forced to shoot threes over ODOM. Advantage or Not an Advantage. What do you guys think?

	Lamar Odom at the Point. Kobe Bryant obviously at the 2. Ariza at the 3. Gasol at the 4 and Bynum at the 5. I would love to see it happen. Why not. It would be like how Magic used to post up PG's and take advantage of them. I love how Odom passes the ball and can handle the ball just like a PG can. Artest is a severe over reaction. With the Finals experience this Lakers team as already eperienced, all the Lakers need is some tougher role players. If the Lakers can get rid of Vlad Rad and Luke and add a couple of seasoned vets than I think that would be better than trading Lamar.

	Interesting suggestion, Gaso. Why not? Just the other day, I read a statement from the team (I can't remember if it was Jackson or somebody Kupchack or somebody from the coaching staff) saying that one of the challenges for next season is how to maximize Odom in the lineup by giving him playing time as a guard. Now since Odom definitely can't play at the SG position, I can only interpret this statement as meaning that there are plans for Odom to play at the point, at least during some stretches of a game. We'll see how this plays out in the months to come.

	Phil did say he would tinker with the lineup during the summer, with Bynum back, its just opens up so many different ways to implement the Lakers offense. Not just that but with his size and length it makes us better defensively. Lamar at point sounds like a crazy enough move to work, but I think that takes away alot from everything else he does so well, the intangibles, but I think Phil will always have this option and so many others that can change the whole dynamics of this team!

	That sounds like a really good plan to me. Start Ariza, Walton or Vlad and let Odom play the point. He is so freaking talented I would hate it if the trade him. Artest sounds good but no need to mess up team chemistry for him. Let's keep the team intact that we have and bring in some veteran bench help for next year.
