Lets just say that Millar won't get much playing time in this series.

Unfortunately Skeet, I didn't get to watch the game tonight so I can't answer that. I haven't been able to watch many games lately. There's too much going on over here, but I should get to watch tomorrow's game.

You know, I never have been a huge fan of Liz.  I was pleasantly surprised when he came up and did well, and he still could bring it around, but he seems too much like a "project" like DC was.  I really hope DC just had a couple of off nights and hasn't regressed, on a side note.

Anyway, Liz earned the callup by really buckling down at AAA, and he did well up here until last night.  I hope I'm wrong about the kid, but he just never wowed me all that much.  Even if I'm right here's hoping he can keep it going until some of the other, perhaps brighter, prospects are ready.

I haven't been a fan of Liz either, he basically a bullpen pitcher taking over till Tillman or Loewen next year.

I never liked Cormier, he was always shaky in my mind where he has a good game and a few bad one, but Kranitz has helped him it seems because he isn't a pitcher that should have a low 2's ERA.

I see Liz as a future middle reliever to tag with Sarfate in the pen.  I dont see him as setup or closer, mainly because those jobs are locked by Ray, Johnson, and Sherrill (now who pitches where I dont know).

I'm going to wait until his next start before I say Liz has become a lost cause. He let his performance at the plate effect the way he was pitching, Cormier had the same problem. He felt so embarassed that he started walking to first when it was only ball 3 and then striking out on the next pitch that it effected his performance on the mound. I don't know what happened with Sarfate, Walker, and Sherrill, they just couldn't find the strikezone.

As for Millar, Trembley said he was going to alternate him and Huff, but I have a feeling Huff's going to be starting as long as he keeps this up. Millar is just slumping too badly to take the white hot Huff out of the lineup.

Ray, Johnson, and Sherrill (now who pitches where I dont know).

i think ray or Sherrill will be traded next year....i think Ray because sherrill is doing great and Johnson is a great set-up man and Sarfate and Walker are also doing great this year....there really isnt any room for him unless were to get rid of Cormier or Bradford

As for Millar, Trembley said he was going to alternate him and Huff, but I have a feeling Huff's going to be starting as long as he keeps this up. Millar is just slumping too badly to take the white hot Huff out of the lineup.

i think he should find a way to get both of them in the lineup, Huff can also play third then put Millar at first Mora at second and roberts at SS....maybe its too much, but  think Contron should be playing more than Bynum
