Everyone knows that a Jordan team would not have lost this game. You could have got Jordan out of were ever he was watching the game right now and he would not have let his team lose. Somewhere during the 21-3 run Jordan would have absolutely taken over this game. Draining shots on offense and playing lock-down defense.

Mike Bibby is closer to Kobe, then Kobe is to Jordan. All of us can see it, some won't admit it, some have known all along.

Jordan will always and forever be in a league of his own. The only way it will get close is if Kobe puts 45-50 down in the next 3 games while playing out of his mind defense.

Jordan in his prime did not lose.  He has faced several solid teams along the way, many 60+ win teams.  A few of them were physical teams with dominant centers like the Heat/Knicks and he played really well.

Jordan and his Championship Bulls were never forced to a game 7 until his final season with the Bulls in 1998 against the Pacers and Reggie Miller.

Jordan would torch double teams and create his own shots sometimes triple teams.

He shot around 50% in his career..has kobe even done that once over a season?
offensive/defensive kobe is definitely behind.  kobe has stepped it up this year in terms of leadership and distributing the ball.

All of these games have been close with 3-4 minutes left and the Lakers lose 3 of the 4 games with kobe not doing much late in the games.

Hell a LeBron James team wouldn't have lost this game.  There is no need to even drop Jordan's name in this type of wasted game opportunity.

Gotta agree...Jordan would never have lost this game. His supporting cast was better...they certainly played the triangle better, but still, Jordan would never have lost this game.

First off let me start by syaing I am a Laker fan.  I however have never been a big Kobe fan and trust me there is nothing worse than having a guy on your team that you don't like.  Not only can the Is kobe the next Jordan argument end but for those few who were trying to place him as the number 2 of all time you can forget about that too.  There is no way Magic, Bird, Russell, Chamberlin, Miller, and a host of otehr names would have lost a playoff game let alone a championship game up 20 in the 3rd.  even worse what fell out of his mouth during the press conference?  I couldnt do anything there were always 3 to 4 guys on me.  Guess what Kobe therte were always 3 to 4 on jordan and Chamberline and your old buddy Shaq.  You want the mantle as the greatest well go out and sieze it dont cry about how there were always 3 to 4 on you.  Basically you just threw your entire team under the bus with that statement what you are saying is hey its not my fault.  Take the loss liek a man the Lakers blew it you blew it Jackson blew it end of game and most likely end of series (being no team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit).  Dont get me wrong Ill cheer like mad during the next game even for you Kobe but its going to takea miricle to stop the Train the Celtics are riding into the sunset.
