Yet another great Chipper quote

You would think some of these Braves players would take that kind of quote to heart, but they go out there tonight and don't show up. I have seen Gregor Blanco not run out a fly ball, I have seen Yunel Escobar, Kelly Johnson, and Brian McCann take plays off and make stupid errors. Kelly let a ball go right through him, Yunel double clutched a ball, and Brian took his sweet time getting to a passed ball. Other than Greg Norton and the bullpen, the team has played pathetic and have looked like they have already given up. It looks like they think they can't win on the road and when you go into a game with that attitude, then bad things happen.

how kelly wasn't charged with an error on the one hit right at him is beyond me.

right now this team stinks. there are too many problems, the entire outfield is just not good, our second baseman just stinks, and the pitching is bad. simply not a championship type team. wren needs to make some moves quickly before we are out of it.  i say put frenchy on the market, while he has some trade value. a few more months of whiffing and letting balls drop in front of him, he will be worth nothing. how long are we going to say he has potential before we realize he is just not gonna be good. i heard a stat during last nights game that in the last few games frenchy left 20 runners on base, not including last night. that is just horrible.
