Insult-PHD:

Reagan was the greatest prez???? Are you serious? What about Lincoln (freed slaves), FDR (kept up national morale during the depression), Even Clinton (for all he did with social services in this country. Reagan may have been good, i don't really remember, I was too young, but I remember learning about the others. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Ideally I would love to see Obama win this one.

If you were a wealthy republican, Regan was one of the best. If you were the majority of the country, he was the devil. All depends who you are.

Because of Reagan's economic plan:

  • over 5 million people have slipped into poverty;
  • nearly 7 million Americans have lost their health insurance;
  • median household income has gone down by nearly $1,300;
  • three million manufacturing jobs have been lost;
  • three million American workers have lost their pensions;
  • home foreclosures are now the highest on record;
  • the personal savings rate is below zero - which hasn’t happened since the great depression;
  • the real earnings of college graduates have gone down by about 5% in the last few years;
  • entry level wages for male and female high school graduates have fallen by over 3%;
  • wages and salaries are now at the lowest share of GDP since 1929.

Gang green, you still never answered my question. So your telling me it is fair that a person that busts their ass through high school and college and in their job should be taxed more money than people that dont work as hard? I understand the fact that people cant afford things these days but that is the reason why everyone should be taxed equally. When I was in school there were kids that didnt give a damn about high school or even going to college they were the ideal a-holes. They got arrested, did drugs and messed up their lives. So people that worked harder and avoided those things should be taxed more? Thats not fair at all and you know it, Obama is an a-hole that is a racist. His wife hates "whiteys" lol that women might end up being our first lady. You have to work in life in order to be successful and how do you know if my dad doesnt work 20 hours a week he is always traveling to support his family so why punish him for that.

See, I can respect that. At least you are making an attempt to find out who Obama is, and what he is about.  Most people purposely blind themselves to what's going on, and usually making wrong decisions because of it.

Economics wise, McCain is taking over where Reagen and Bush left off. He is cutting taxes for the richest people, and not doing anything to help the middle/lower class. Obama and Clinton both want give a lot of money back to the rest of the country. The people Reagan and Bush forgot about.

This is my main complaint about McCain. He isn't that bad of a guy, but if he becomes pres, it is going to hurt way too many people, and only help the richest people.

With the war, McCain wants to stay as long as we have to in order to make Iraq an obedient oil supplier, like S. Arabia.  Even  Saudi Arabia isn't as obedient as we would like them to be. After all most of the 9/11 suspects were from there.

Obama wants to just pull out and cut our losses. I don't really agree with either of their plans. I think there needs to be a balance of the 2. I like the idea of getting out more than staying in forever if needed.

Health Care is the next big issue. there are millions upon millions of people who don't even have health care. Even people with health care are not getting what they need, because health care companies do what ever they can not to give you what you need. The system is flawed in so many ways. Again the only people that gain from our current system are the really rich. If their health care doesn't want to pay for a new cancer drug, they don't need them to. They can buy it themselves. Obama and Clinton both want to change the system so that everyone, poor or rich, can get the health care that we all need. McCain wants to keep the same system, but make people more aware of it. If you ask me, that doesn't solve any of the problems.

People say Obama only says what people want here. He hasn't changed any of his views, or goals. He doesn't flip flop. I think people should want someone that is offering what people need.
