Kelly Johnson sucks on D

C'mon R case, Kelly dropped the ball that would have won the game, but it could happen to anyone.  He does need a bigger glove though.  That glove was tiny.  I don't think anyone was more frustrated than me, not even Bobby Cox or Kelly. 

I'm very upset that Tim Hudson didn't get the win.  The Braves played horibble from every aspect yesterday.  The whole team lost this game yesterday including Bobby with his stupid decisions.  I mean letting Boyer pitch when you have Soriano, and then Boyer walks two and one ends up scoring.

well that may be the supposed toughest catch for a 2nd baseman or whatever but it was routine and he is a professional baseball player......i know it happens to everyone but don't make excuses for him as i am sure he didn't make any and just took it like a man.

as for Boyer i said on another thread that if kelly would have made the catch no one would have been complaining about the walks. boyer did his job and got 3 outs without giving up a run but the Phillies got to work with 4 outs that inning

I was there last night and I ahve to say that I was highly disappointed in the outcome of the game.  Kelly should have made that play.  His defense is good enough.  NOt spectacular but good enough.  I don't know why we bring acosta into pressure situations anymore.  He's a 6th or 7th inning guy, not 8th+.  As for Soriano, I understand why Bobby's not running him out there night in night out.  He just came back from missing 45 games.  He has to work his way back in.  The last thing we need is for him to go down with another injury.  Still, let's hope for a speedy return from Gonzo.

Oh yeah, and to hell with Victorino.  This guy has been a bane to my existence for a while now.  I was agressively heckleing him all night and sure enough, he comes through twice.  Damn his oily hide!
