I know it sounds like a bold statement but here are the facts for boston to win this series they have to do someting they have not been able to to not only in the playoffs but in several months. They have to average 95 points for the entire series to even have an outside chance to win and here is why, Utah is a solid defensive team and they held the lakers to a series average of 93.4 points per game but maybe the celtics are better defensively than the jazz, well The spurs are at least as good as boston defensively if not better but they held the lakers to a series average of 93.7 points, lakers starting to look pretty consistent right? they should average about 94 to 95 against the celts. here is the problem for boston they averaged 91.5 per game against detroit but in all fairness the pistons are better defense than the lakers, here is where it gets REAL ugly boston only averaged 84 per game against the cavs very comparable defense to the lakers. when you do the math the celtics just can't score enough to beat the lakers in a 7 game series they may do it 1 or 2 games but not 4 out of 7 and they won't hold the lakers to 85 per game which is what they would have to doo to win. So Sorry Celtic fans but you don't have a chance (mathmaticly speaking anyway)
