Begin the nostalgic commercials, the Magic Johnson and Larry Bird interviews, the McDonald's Lakers vs. Celtics happy meals, and the superstar raided finals games.  This is the product of an NBA losing money because The Spurs and Pistons are so irrelevant.  I hope the Lakers win the finals since they beat my Spurs, but Mr. Stern didn't have to let it happen this way.  The Pau Gasol trade to the Lakers for a box of Crackerjacks, the Brent Barry no-call, the horrible ghost fouls that are being called nowadays...I'm not angry.  The agree that the NBA has gotten very lame, despite my team's winning 4 championships recently.

really tho...can people shut up about the Brent Barry no-call already....that was a GREAT no-call considering Lakers got screwed on the five whistles before that...plus, Brent Barry tried too hard to draw that foul, the contact was more a fault of brent barry's attempt to draw the foul than it was derek fisher actually committing a foul...GREAT NO-CALL

You are not angry but sure sound in DENIAL....Your team is old and the refs also gave them a lot of calls...( heck they gave you last yrs championship, remember the calls on the suns series??? )

I don't deny the Barry contact was a foul but it went our way, the spurs did not deserve that game or the series....

I live Houston and is the same crap everytime the rockets loose..whaaaaa the NBA does not want us to win, whaaaaa!!! come on people stop crying and be real!!!

Good luck next yr with the group of senior citizens!! jajaja

Now if anyone knows about bad foul calls its the rest of the NBA when your player Ginobili acts as if hes having a seizures....70 % of those calls are not foul!!!

What do you say about that? about him being the biggest flopper in the game??

The problem with the Spurs is that they depend on the refs too much and when it does not goes their way they play their  " we are a small market card "

Thanks for reminding me why I hate the Spurs so much!!!

" GO LAKERS, SHOWTIME ITS BACK AND WILL BE HERE FOR AWHILE"

Oh come on man.

Why is it not all that surprising that you're a SA fan.  How long has it been since the Celtics played the Lakers in the finals?  Now that it finally happens again after decades it has to be fixed?  Give me a break.  Look, here's the deal.  I'll fully admit that this day in age, with steroids in baseball, Bellicheck in football, and crooked refs in the NBA, it's no longer as easy to shoot down conspiracy theories in sports.  That said, you always have to be extremely skeptical when the conspiracy calls are coming from the losing teams fans.  Then it comes off a lot more like whinning then objectively assesing the situation.  Look no further then half of the Detroit/Boston threads.  The Piston fans were talking smack until the very end, when they ultimately lost, the smack talking all of a sudden shifted towards conspiracy talk.  What a surprise.  Now I'm a Celtic fan but I'm not naive.  I know that some Celtic fans would have been screaming conspircacy if the C's lost.  Bottom line, it's all about the source.  If some Laker fan were to step up and say, wait a minute, some of the calls throughout the playoffs have seemed very suspicious, I'll accept that.  But when it's coming from fans of the losing teams, it's not real, it's just whinning.  But from a Spurs fan, come on bro.  All of a sudden this year the league decided we can't have SA win a championship.  Why was that not a problem during all the rings you guys have won recently?
