Must SUCK to be a Kobe-hater right about now

Anyway, I think I'll copy and paste this post onto the Cavs, Suns, and N.O message board. Somehow I think I won't have the same support there.

Even today's Doyle article acknowledges that people don't like the Lakers players

I wasn't some lone gunman whackjob with a personal vendetta against Kobe Bryant.

There are about 300 threads now discussing why the Lakers are the bad guys and the Celtics are the likabe good guys.

I hate the city of Boston and its obnoxious fans as most of America does....yet the personal venom directed towards Kobe is palatble enough for most of america to be rooting for the Celtics...

I can't understand the whole "I hate Kobe" and "Kobe is a bad person". First of all not one person on this blog has ever met or even sat and had a beer with him. Its all media hype with morons like Doyle and Freeman fueling the fire. No one knows him on any personal level other than what the news portrays. Unfortunatley we have become too dependant on the news and ridiculous articles like the crap on this site. All the opinions are just that and nothing more. Hate if you want and talk all the smack you can, because its all just garbage anyway. The only thing people can say they know is what kind of game he brings and what a super althlete he is. Done.

No one said you were "alone" in hating Kobe. There are tons of "Kobe-haters" out there. The point of the thread is, as the title says, "it must suck to be a Kobe-hater right about now."
