id just like to say that Noah has very wealthy parents and he acts incredibly spoiled
granted thats not the worst thing in the world but i go to college and i feel the urge to slap everyone i hear say "oh thats ok my daddy will pay for it"

believe me it happens far to much

rich people are not bad people

but wealthy young atheletes who are spoiled piss me off

The kid's got limited game. He now demonstrates what appeared to be the case from his day's in Gainesville...limited gray matter. What an idiot!!! Doesn't get it and condones his idiocy which is what he learned and is still being propogated by his role model. "My Dad; a hip loser."
Nice job Noah, you dirtbag!

Noah is an adult and has to go through the process and take responsibility. It really isn't a big deal. He wasn't driving, he was just out partying and he put himself in a stupid situation. He will have consequences for it and he should learn from it. Noah's dad didn't say or do anything off-the wall. Im sure he loves his son and does not want him to be hurt, but he also understands that a young dude will go out and party and if he isn't driving or fighting or killing or raping, its not a big deal. There is a process for dealing with misdemeanors and Noah will have to go through it. That's it. It happens all the time. It is just a matter of whether or not Noah learns from it. The act of drinking beer and smoking a little dope realy isn;t a big deal, or shouldn't be.

I like Noah, but I'm getting this Ricky Williams vibe here.  Look, I have no problem with someone doing a little partying and smoking a little weed on their own time.  However, we are paying Joakim a lot of money to do a Job and I have to wonder if his head is truly in it.

Take studies on marijuana use and effects with a grain of salt. Pot ha become a great scape-goat and it works for bug business and politics. More often than not, these "studies" are designed around solidifying a position based on money and power.

What we do know is that marijuana, if not the first, was one of the first crop ever used in agriculture. Hemp has many more uses than recreational partying, but the several cultures and groups and peoples, traditionally and recently known to use marijuana for recreational purposes, don't have a known pattern or history of all of the intense ill effects described in some of these "studies".

There is use and abuse of anything. It is ludicrous for a society to make alcohol (far more dangerous of a substance) caffeine, nicotine and other readily available substances legal, while pot isn't.

As long as Noah isn't abusing any substance, and he fulfills his agreement to not partake during the season, I have a hard time viewing  this as a big deal.

Noah had the kind of support and upbringing that ultimately led to him getting an education and becoming a pro athlete. If Noah screws up his life,he'll be the one to suffer for it. To judge him and his family over this minor incident, is inappropriate in my opinion.

It seems whenever someone states an opinion that, to not do something would be a good thing, they are accused of being a judge of those who do.  I am not sentencing any person to do time for these actions.  I will take your statement that Noah and Yannick are great guys as being absolutely true.  My statements are that drugs, including marijuana, are at best foolish and at worst harmful to those who take them.  Great guys and gals can do stupid things.  I LOVE life and enjoy facing it and laughing at it.  Drugs appear to be an escape.  There is a lot about life that doesn't have to be run from.  Some of you are saying that taking drugs is true freedom.  Since when is an addiction freedom?
