fantasy football note (for those who care): Packers WR's - i had Driver and Jennings ranked so high last year, you had to... even picked up James Jones as a fill in one week. In 2008... you'd be a fool not to really knock them ALL down a bit. Jennings gonna get 12 TD's again with Rodgers throwing him the ball? He's a stretch the field guy... Aaron's arm any were near Farve's? Driver should still produce but isn't gonna have the connection he had with Brett. J. Jones is now boarder line undraftable, even in a 3 WR league. He had a decent rookie year and showed promise... then Brett left and they drafted Jordy Nelson. eeek killed Jones outlook in 2008.

The thing that most miss is that Sheppard has NOT played a complete season except for ONE year in his six year tender w/ the Iggles.  He has not completed a full season at ALL in the last four years. (12 games in '02, 16 in '03,  15 in '04, 10 in '05, 13 in '06, & 11 in '07) That's why he's NOT an elite CB.  He's an elite CB WHEN he's on the field, but that only 2/3s of the time   Does anyone see WHY Reid & Co. have turned him into a Nickel Back????????  A nickel back is only used 1/2 to 2/3s of the time.  Perfect for Lito. That's why he's not getting any kind of new contract.  That's why he's NOT been traded.

Andy Reid spoke in an interview last night or the night before and stated that NO team had blown his socks off with a trade offer.  NO team is going to offer ANY more than a 2nd (prolly 3rd) for a guy WHO cannot stay on the field ALL season.  He deserves and gets an ELITE 3rd (NICKEL) CB's Salary.

If he wants to get paid more, then produce more.  The only way to produce more is to stay on the field more.  He has failed to prove he can do that up 'til now.

We ALL get caught up in his Dallas killings.  However, that's the only games I have seen him in lately that he changed (killed) the game completely.  I need him to "kill" more often and hunt on a waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more REGUALR basis.

Question: If they were willing to go out and trade for a malcontent in Moss (which I have stated several times was simply a PR move) why didn't they just keep the malcontent they already had? Good question isn't it?

I am loving those of you think Aaron Rodgers is gonna suck simply because he's not Brett Favre, it's quite amuzing to hear your silly reasoning. The same people that say Rodgers will suck are the same people that think "Kobb with an L" is the future of the franchise and that when McNabb gets injured this year "Kobb with an L" should take over as starter for good. There are Eagle fans that think he should start now!

I think you become dumber with every post, as you said Aaron Rodgers IS NOT BRETT FAVRE and therefore the Packers are going to take a significant hit. An unproven quarterback leading the Packers right now will probably not make the playoffs. I would say the same for an Eagle squad lead by Kevin Kolb right now. Both QB's will need time to develop and games will be sacrificed in that process.

So, please swallow what little pride you have left and stop making stupid comments.

Answer: Your the one calling Moss a malcontent. Moss and his off the field contract antics are very very mild compared to Owens. Also your forgetting something REAL basic. Moss was traded to New England and out performed his contract, then looked for more money... some what quietly... all attention was brought in BY THE NE MEDIA. Owens was a FA from 49ers. Brief stint as Raven because of his agents stupidity. Then SIGNED a nice contract as an Eagle. then he became a MALCONTENT... big time. 100X's what ever you think Moss was this off season. so not really that good a question man! I wasn't referring to Moss being a malcontent this year in his contract negotiations, I was referring to the past 4 seasons of wanting out of Minnesota and Oakland. You know, his admitting to taking plays off and his leaving the field before the game was over and criticizm of his coaches game plan, and criticizm of personell decisions. that's what i'm talking about. You mean to tell me Stubborn andy is willing to tolerate on-field non-sense but not off-field non-sense?? that's a new one!!

Randy Moss had zero intentions of leaving his own heaven on earth. Reference all that stuff I said about Moss in the above paragraph and then let me know why he'd leave NE for Philly. If you needed a ring to validate your legacy as one of the games greatest WR's what organization gives you the best opportunity. It's no different than wade Boggs playing for the Yankees or Ray Borque playing with the Avalanche. It gets to a point where money isn't the #1 priority, winning is. I guess Moss didn't want to come play for the "gold standard" in football excellence!
