I told you guys Paul was not a big time player. You guys thought he was the Mvp and I told you Kobe was the clear choice. And I was right. Then I told you guys that Paul hasn't proved anything yet, and he wasn't a big time player till he proves himself in the playoffs in the clutch. Again I was right. Sure he played well overall, but when the chips were really down, game 7 2nd half , 4th qtr, he disappeared. In fact, Pargo looked like the allstar guard in the clutch. Not Paul....Remember, N.O. greatness is proven in the playoffs. Guys like Lebron and Paul, have never proven themselves when it counts, and that's why it's ridiculous to try and put those 2 guys in Kobe's class. A 3-time winner, and true champion  on and off the court.

One more thing, NO, I'm not trying to rub it  in or talk smack, just tell you guys that I was right all along. Kobe's the Mvp, the best player in the league, and N.o was destined for  an early exit.....Again no trying to trash  talk NO> Just here to say "I told you so.'

Enjoy the fishing!

congratuflippinlations. he had one bad game. you saw what he did to the Spurs during the other 6 games. stop bringing Kobe into all of this, because an MVP means nothing. a championship ring is what matters the most, and the Lakers won't win another one this year. Who gives a rat's a** if Chris Paul didn't win MVP. he came out 2nd which is pretty damn good.

Paul hasn't proved anything yetgood lie

Guys like Lebron and Paul, have never proven themselves when it countsLebron took his team to the Finals last year.. you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. you just come here to bring the Hornets fans down. a$$hole

You're absolutely wrong about Paul. Did you even see him this year? He was the MVP. Now I didn't so much have a problem with Kobe getting it this year, only because he undoubtedly deserves at least one before his career is over, but Paul was the best player in the league this year. He has carried this team on his back just as Kobe has done with LA, but Paul has been more valuable to the Hornets than Kobe has been to the Lakers. By the way, Paul carried his team tonight as well, just in case you missed it (18 points at 45% fgp, 14 assists, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and only 4 TOs). Paul's fgp and points scored were slightly down and his turnovers were slightly up compared to what he's done this season, but that is still a pretty impressive stat line. I'm not putting him in the same class as Kobe yet as he only has a couple of years in the NBA, but Paul was the best player in the league this year. To say he is not a big time player is simply talking trash, because there is no truth to that whatsoever.

Sman,

Show some class.  If you're not rubbing in it,  then why are you even starting this stupid thread?

Your not a sports person are you? Because if you were you would know a great player when you saw him. CP is the shit!!! The kid is young and is going to make a few mistakes. He took these old ass Spurs to a game 7. But yet you still say he is not great. No he is not a kobe but kobe is no jordan! Chris play like Chris! And what he did this year you can never take it away from him or his team. So you need to quit trying to talk sports and leave this kind of stuff to the real sports fans. It's  not hard to tell...
