How many yards do you think Eason will have this year?

enrique davis was our prized recruit, he was a top 3 rb last year, went to prep school for a year.  he was headed to auburn, but changed at the last minute.  he is not on campus yet though.

I'm excited to see Davis play...I've heard a lot of good things about him.  With Eason and Davis both in the backfield, I can't imagine either one of them breaking the 1,000 yard threshold.  However, they will make a great one, two punch providing fresh legs through out the game and season.  With Sneed at the helm and some of our receivers returning, we should have a pretty dynamic offense.  Here's to hoping for great things this comming year!  As of now, we're still undefeated!

i disagree airforcereb!  i think davis will for sure.  and maybe, just maybe eason.  both felix jones and mcfadden did.  now, neither davis nor eason is mcfadden yet, but they have the potential to be as deadly a 1-2 punch i think.

I think it will depend on Nutt's offensive philosphy.  If it's the same at Ole Miss as it was at Arkansas I think your right.  He had a great backfield and employed a run first, run always strategy.  I'm hoping that changes a little at Ole Miss.  I think the Rebs will continue to struggle in the SEC if Nutt tries such a one demensional offense in Oxford.  I hope, with Snead taking snaps, that Nutt takes advantage of having multiple weapons and varies the offense--a lot.  If that's the case, we might get one 1,000 yard rusher but not two.  But, Ole Miss will be better in the long run for it.  I'll gladly take 2 backs that get 600-800 a piece combined with a good passing offense that gets 2,000+ yards over a one demensional offense that has two 1,000 yard backs with virtually no passing offense.  Mixing it up a little more = wins.  We'll see what happens come the fall.
