I don't necessarily agree with it, but how convenient he will be back for the ACC opener against Wake? Just goes to show you that winning is the only thing that really matters. 50 hours of community service and 12 months probation for carrying a concealed weapon and marijuana possession. I wonder if the judge is a college football fan or FSU alum? Gotta love our legal system.

Like I said, I don't necessarily agree with it but it certainly brightens the prospects for next season! He's as legit a playmaker as there is on the roster right now and if he's returning kicks, I fully expect him to finish a few of those in the opposing end zone. If they can make it by Wake with the suspensions and Clemson pulls their annual collapse, the ACC is going to be wide open. VT is in trouble at RB since they dismissed Ore and no one else in the conference scares me to the point I don't think FSU has a chance. The Noles could be BCS bowling come January! 

Ok, so I just went to tdo.com to check out what the Democrat had on the story. I jumped the gun (no pun intended). FSU imposed their own sanctions on him as well (detailed in the story) and he issued what seems like a VERY heartfelt apology. Seems as if he learned his lesson and will now be focused on his dream of playing in the NFL someday. Still needs to prove it though.

SPEAK THE TRUTH tmontana9999!  I don't think you said one thing in this thread I can disagree with, especially about people hating on the man that basically created the way football is played now-a-days. 

I'm currently a student at FSU, and trust me it's been rough as a Seminole fan because I started here three years ago when this so called "downfall" has been occuring.  BUT never once has the thought come into my head that Bobby should leave or that FSU isn't thw same anymore.  He can leave when he damn well pleases, and if some fair-weather fans disagree, then the last 20 years must have slipped their minds or something.  He has tenure here, and its well deserved.

Another thing, Its insulting to me to see current students here not even consider going to some games on Saturday because it's a "bad" team and these same students say Bobby Bowden needs to go because he is too old and doesn't know what he is doing on the field.  I have lost all respect for those students (football wise).  Hopefully in my last few years here new students will come in with the same passion for Florida State that I have, and will always have.
