Here is a quick hit poll for everyone to consider. In light of Syracuse's poor performance since Greg Robinson has become the head coach, Should he be fired if the Orange do not post a winning record this season?
I am not sure how many people will agree with me but, I thought he probably should have been fired after this past season. In my opinion Robinson simply has not lived up to expectations. Syracuse should attempt to go after a more high profile coach who would be better suited to attract higher quality recruits. Thoughts?
In order to get back to a point of being a legitimate NCAA Div-I football school, They really need to make a change. Robinson just does not have the "big name" that lends itself to being able to effectively recruit against many or any of the powerhouse programs. In addition to his inability to recruit, I just don't think he is a very good coach.
I must admit. I shocked at the lack of interest in this poll. I figured you folks would be all over this thread, either in support of my opinion or calling me a complete idiot. Hmmm.
He should be fired right now and then Syracuse could go down to Dallas and apologize to Pasqualoni and offer twice as much as he was making when they fired him. Wishful thinking obviously.
