What is your favorite Duke Basketball game

Mine was Duke vs UNC Feb 28 1998

We were down by 17 points with 11 mins left and Duke started to come back slowly but surely and in the last minute we took the lead 77- 75  and Steve Wojciechowski ran and hugged coach K it was very emotional for every Duke fan

Mine has to be the Miracle Minute game vs. Maryland in 2001.

The Terps were our biggest ACC competitors while I was there, and watching the shock and dejection creep into the faces of the crowd as J-Will scored 8 points in 15 seconds was lovely...the national championship wasn't bad either.

Favorite game I ever attended was March 1986 when, in Johnny Dawkins, Mark Alarie, Jay Bilas, David Henderson's etc. last game we beat Carolina 82-74!

Other favorites I attended:2001 semi-finals against MD and finals against AZ resulting in our last championship.

Favorites I watched on tv:

1986 defeat of Kansas in semi-finals/1991 defeat of UNLV in semi-finals/1988 and 1999 defeat of Carolina in ACC tourneys for the "Triple Crown"/and, of course, 1992 Elite 8 game against Kentucky!

Favorite Duke games:

1. MSU beats Duke to reach the regional finals in the 2005 tournament. The highlight of the game was Reddick's feeble attempt to stop Maurice Ager on a break away dunk. He did however get a good whiff of Mo's jock.

2. Runnin' Rebels 30 point annihilation of the Blue Devils.

3. Duke's loss to the Hoosiers in the 2002 sweet sixteen. A preview of J Will's illustrious pro career.

Every game they ever lost.  I think one of my favorites though, has to be the one where Trojan Langdon "The Alaskan Assassin" slipped on one of the lines on the floor and dook went on to lose the national championship.

Also, the one where Capel hit that incredible half court shot to send the game to over time ... and UNC still won.  '95 I think.  The year of the back.

By far the best game was Maryland vs Duke  2001.  the terps thought they had the game wrapped up boy were they wrong.. I was so excited I ran a mile down the road in a wife beater.  It was 31 degrees outside and I was drinking.  but still I will never forget that game.

Duke-UNC feb 05 2004 Duhons reverse lay-up with 6.5 left...AMAZING.  That one or the miracle minute game vs Maryland

Anytime we beat Carolina is obviously great, especially this years. Duhon's reverse layup to win in 2004 was unbelievable. Dockery's half court shot to beat Va Tech was more than thrilling. But it has to be the Maryland game down 10 with a minute left, and the Jay Williams take over.

I have to agree with you on this one. Christian Laettner might be the best Duke player ever but Jason Williams was definately the most exciting.
