Obviously, I didn't expect the 2005 Ensberg, but looking at his stats after that career season, he still carried a pretty good OBS in the years after, and was always regarded as a good infielder.

What I really liked about him was his .916 career OPS against LHP. I saw him as the perfect bat off the bench and in relief of various positions

Really had this hunch that the Yankees had stolen one in the off-season.

So this year he's hitting .192 against LHP and his lone HR against a righty. He seems completely clueless at the plate. So many chances, so little actual production.

I know it's early, but I don't really see it changing for this guy. He just doesn't seem to have much of a plan at the plate. He gets beat by good pitches, he gets beat by bad pitches.

...............

LOL

Gotta tell you, I heard a "Yankees suck" cheer and I couldn't believe it. Must have been the first time ever in St Pete.!

They can't keep pitching the way they are. I know they're talented, but some of these guys are going to hit a wall at some point.

Glad we're done with them for a while though!

Kazmir & Shields are enough to blindside a team and if that kid Jackson is on top of his game he can be tough.. the only part like your saying is can the Wheelers and Millers stay this way? I say no, ... a complete  turn around from a pen that was the worst EVER in MLB history last year can't change this much

isn't this crazy how they sit at top, lol? Fans flock to the games like a crowd would for a  arena  football  game

I've felt your pain, nynasty.  After such a great 2005 regular season, Mo was terrible in the playoffs and ws.  Then he started 2006 with 10 dingers in 13 games, but then fell off like a prom dress and has not been the same since.  I was hoping he would come around in the Bronx this year, but it's not looking good.

ENJOYING LAST PLACE????   Ohhhhh the shame!!!      BWAAAA HAHAHAHAHA

What is that, 4 losses in a row for the Red Sox?  Could be one of those WS hangover seasons.

Poor Mo... He just hasn't been the same since he messed up his shoulder at the end of the 2005 season.

Is he taking a lot of called third strikes? That's what he did in his last season with the 'stros. I wonder if his vision is bad; he used to see the ball so well. Not so much the past few years though.

Nash,

I know exactly what you mean. It became painful to watch him at the plate. He'd watch two perfectly throw pitches go right over the plate, and then flail at a third strike out of the zone, or watch another float over for a called strike three. I always wanted to see him get back to 2005 form, but he is just too screwed up it seems.

..................

I also said you were a front-running nim-rod. So far, I'm right on the money with that one.

Seriously, who comes in here talking sh*t when their own team has lost 6 out of their last 8 games?

Those "last place Yankees" you keep crowing about are 3 whole games behind your mighty Red Sox.

The more you know..................dumbass.
