	Yea he has a calming influence because he gives everyone weed. Thats how it would have been different, instead of drinking alcohol, they would have been drinking and smoking. But for real... I think Ricky probably does have that kind of influence, because he's a very laid back person, and a very quiet person. It's a good thing Ricky wasn't on the boat, because if he was, and things weren't different, his career may have been over.

	I think he is going to be different this year. He should be more productive and useful in the Dolphins offense.

	I don't mean that Ricky Williams would have been doing anything wrong on the boat when I said if things weren't different.... ...i meant that if he would have been on it and wouldn't have been able to diffuse the situation and calm Benson...Ricky's name would have been thrown around in this situation, and that's another negative thing floating around his resume. I to think Ricky has learned that if he slips up again... he's done, no questions asked. Especially because of the character issues that are a HIGH concern with teams right now. Even if he didn't do anything on the boat, he would have that associated with him, and coaches/GMs would have questions about his character by associating with a buy who is belligerent with the cops and resists arrest (whether he really did or not I don't know, he seems to be fighting this pretty hard, but then it could mean he's just scared because he's already so close to being gone in Chicago.) Ricky will be productive this year, especially since Ronnie Brown will have to take limited carries because of his knee injury. I've heard that Ricky Williams is in great shape which also talks of his character. He really wants to prove to everyone that he can be committed to football. He's going to be fighting for that starting spot whether he admits it or not.

	DelawarePhinFan that is a very disturbing picture, I think it ways something about Ricky's character that he didnt go on the boat. I think RIcky could be gold for us this year he seems to be taking a more serouis approach to the game, and for him that is diffinately a good thing. Who knows what would have happened had he had his head on striat and had been our back all this time.
