Yes, it is "ridiculous", as well as "embarrassing." The original comment was bad enough, and I can only guess that it refers to the Hornsby incident of using a dead girl's credit card. It was a heinous act, and he was promptly dismissed from the team. Of course haters jump on Meyer and the Gators, however, we have had fewer incidents in the last few years than most programs. Urban takes these things very seriously. Not only that, he has a close relationship with players, like Michael Guilford (walk on QB killed in a motorcyle accident) and his girlfriend Ashley Slonina (the dead girl who died in the same accident). He even takes a personal interest in the girl's parents.

The haters are hopeless hypocrites. We are not responsible for thuggish behavior at FSU and MIami. Many seem to have a tendency to lump us together with the classless behavior at our in- school rivals. For those who are ignorant of the difference, all Florida programs are not the same.
