Chelsea Draw with Bolton

To be honest i'm pretty happy to see chelsea humbled. Being a Manchester United fan it was very satisfying to see. From what i have seen, there is no reason that Chelsea should have lost that game. I completely agree with you that it seemed that they gave up.

It didn't really make any difference, and Chelsea knew it. Manchester United had their game sewn up at that point, and so anything that Chelsea did would have no bearing on where the title would go.

Plus, Bolton are really not that bad. A combination of injuries unsettling their lineup and bad luck led to them being so low in the table - Don't forget they finished top 10 each of the last 4 seasons.

I found it interesting that Chelsea fell victim to their own game. How many times has Chelsea done the same thing in the past, hung around for the full 90, especially in a lackluster game, only to get the tying goal, or winner in extra time? Prime example was in the FA Cup last year against Man U. Very frustrating indeed, but when the shoe is on the other foot....... Well that my friends was electric!
