is most likely to have a down year. With the way last year went, it's probable that one of these teams will have a 8-4 or 7-5 year, but which one & why?

I just don't think Missouri can do it two years in a row.

I voted Florida.  I have no issue with the offense.  My concern is was last year just a "rebuilding" year (defensively) or was it part rebuilding and part less talent?

I voted Georgia because of their tough schedule. I'll cite each team and my prediction.

USC: Their schedule isn't that tough and they are always consistent top team. I just can't see them having a 8-4 season with that schedule. Prediction. 10-2 Pac 10 Champ, play in Rose Bowl.

Florida: Had their down years last year and have already rebuilded, they can't get worse than last yearand their schedule is alot easier than last year. Prediction: 12-1 SEC Champ, playing in NC.

Oklahoma: Returns a solid amount of players and should be an amazing team. Prediction: 12-1, Big 12 Champ, gets cheated out of NC and has to play Fiesta again haha.

OSU: Easy schedule really can't have more than 2 losses and they return a solid amount of players. 11-1, Big 10 Champ, Play in NC

WVU: No matter what everyone says they are still solid without RR. 11-1 Big East Champ, gets cheated out of NC, Fiesta

Missouri: A decent schedule but I can't see them losing 4-5 games in the North. Prediction: 11-2, Big 12 North Champ, play in Orange

LSU: I believe they will have the worst out of any of these teams but I don't believe they have a chance to lose more than 4 games. Prediction: 10-3, SEC West winner, will play in Sugar or Cap One.

Georgia: I believe they are a great team but their schedule gives them the best chance to have a down year. They play, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, and Arizona St along with teams that can upset them like South Carolina and Kentucky. I believe they will finish the season at 10-2 and play in the Sugar but I could see them losing 4 games or more on that schedule. I am also not sold on them, they had a great ending but I don't believe they would have beaten Florida if Tebow was healthy and Hawaii was overated. The only win that made me believe they were that good was that beatdown they gave Auburn. Depending on how Stafford and Moreno do they could lose 4+ games.

I picked Missouri.  But LSU's lack of a veteran QB leads me to believe that they could end up 8-4 if things go wrong early on.  The Florida-SC-UGA stretch would present problems for any QB, let alone a first-year starter.  I remember the Buckeyes' year (2004) with Justin Zwick at the helm.  The kid was supposed to be a superstar, but froze under the big lights.  A team that should have gone 11-2 or 10-3 ended up 8-5 because the team lost early on (to Northwestern!) and Zwick couldn't right the ship.  Then Troy Smith took over.

Of course, with all the talent surrounding the QB spot, LSU is just as likely to end up 11-1.  Just don't underestimate how important a veteran signal-caller can be.

It would have been an easier choice to have Kansas on that list. They will not be as fortunate as they were last year. That being said, Missouri will share the same fate. Teams will be ready for them. They too will find this season full of bumps.

But no one faces what WVU does. Lost their coach, 90% of the reason for their recent success. Not only are WVU fans waiting with baited breath, so are the media vultures. The media will be quick to jump on the WVU bandwagon, and just as quick to set it on fire. They are still very talented, but I think the Rich situation will leave a mark on the program this season. The rest of the Big East (with the exception of Syracuse) will be licking their chops. I see losses to Cincy, USF, Louisville, and Rutgers. Throw in the potential loss to Pitt and this could be an ugly season (8-4 or 7-5). They got my vote.

Other teams that performed well but will back slide this year:

Hawaii, Kentucky, Michigan, UConn, possibly Illinois.
