Now one last thing to jaggar.  Herbstreit said that the cooliest thing is how at EACH national title game the last 2 years, the fans start chanting SEC, SEC after fla got way up and LSU did the same.  herbstreit said it one of the reasons the passion for football is JUST bigger in the south. You know, I'm starting to wonder why the sane among us post on here at all...this site is filled with HATERS and WANNABE'S. 

It's also true that there are some tactful, insightful, creative, and well-spoken fanatics in this community; unfortunately, they are severley outnumbered by the throngs of visceral, rabid baboons that are constantly running around, smearing and spewing their feces and saliva all over anything that once resembled a coherent thought.

It's entertaining from time to time, to watch the animals wage crap-warfare, but their crap stanks.  And it's starting to reek-up this message board something fierce.

Here's my take on how the Big Ten's "ranked teams" will fair this upcoming season:

Ohio State - Undefeated, unanimous #1 by seasons end, earning their third-straight outright Big Ten Championship, which is a first in Big Ten history, going onto to play and defeat the Oklahoma Sooners in the BCS NC game, ending the season #1.

M*ch*gan State - This is my long-shot team, I see them having a major breakout season under Mark Dantonio, possibly going 11-1, with their only loss coming @home against the Buckeyes, but maybe 10-2 if they have a letdown against Purdue on Nov. 11, their 2nd to last game.  I see them being ranked #5, playing in a BCS bowl.

Wisconsin - I think the Badgers lose week 5 @Ohio State, and then again in week 9 @M*ch*gan State, ending their regular season 10-2, ranked #12...playing in what bowl I do not know.

Penn State - Penn State will finish the season 9-3, with losses @Ohio State, @Wisconsin, and in their last game of the season, @home against M*ch*gan State.  The Nittany Lions will be ranked #15

Illinois - Zook and his boys will go 8-4, with an opening loss @Mizzu, followed by losses @Penn State, @Wisconsin, and @home vs. Ohio State.  They'll finished ranked #24.

So, to answer the question in the title of the thread:

Yes.  The Big Ten will have 4-5 ranked teams, in my opinion.

At least we can look back on Greg Bellisari's linebacking career as a positive.

IF you don't play a SEC team you might have a shot, but you will only GAIN anybody's respect if you beat USC. USC is the nail in the coffin for tressel and the buckeyes. You lose that game and no one will take the big ten or osu serious for years and years to come.

Since 2000 OSU 1 and 4 against teams that finished top 5. Finished strong not lame.

I actually did read what he wrote and apparently unlike you I have some basic language comprehension skills. 

Jagger in no way stated or insinuated anything of the sort.  He simply was making fun of Bellisari, Germany and Rambo.  He never even came close to saying either of those receivers were the teams leading receiver that year.
