After looking at it, it really doesn't seem to bad if we play the way we should.
Yes we start off rough and finish the same way (away games against the Chargers and the defending SB champs should never be a give me.)
BUT If we handle our business in our division + the fact we play two of the weaker divisions in the NFL (NFC N and AFC W) we have a good chance to not only make the play offs BUT get a high seed. Now this is all saying we play like we should and sweep Atl and split at least with NO and TB, I don't see anyone in the NFC N besides maybe the Vikings that we should not man handle and the Raiders/Chiefs/Broncos should be wins.
Now I know I am speculating way way way way way early but I don't see a rough road for us this year. No its not as easy as the Pats schedule BUT it is very manageable.
GO Panthers!

I agree with you on this and as long as all the sports writers keep saying we wont do anything, that is our best shot at getting things done. The Panthers play best as underdogs.... GO PANTHERS!

I believe the same thing Kissmyconverse, but any team can show up and be something, we all know that teams like the Packers last year can come out of nowhere and do something. That being said, I do think with the team the Panthers have now and how they SHOULD play, we should do really good this year. But it is the NFL, and any team can win on any given Sunday. Or Monday...

And I agree CubsFan1981. The Panthers play great when everyone says they will not do anything. And you know what, THEY WON'T!

it's a good schedule looking at it now, but the panters have never played real well against Seattle, just because of their west coast offense...but they don't have DJ Hackett anymore and we know where he went to.

We are keeping with the statement as long as we play like we are supposed to, bet this year looks much more promising as long as jack gets back by training camp

I'm more excited than Paris Hilton with a room full of drunk college boys! You never can tell about schedules though. Last year I had the Panthers to go 12-4! Who would have ever guessed that we would have lost to the Texans anyway? Anyway's I am optimistic!

The NFL is so competitive...there is so much parity today that you just never know for sure what to expect from week to week.

I do like having the underdog roll or at least not being a seven point favorite.

Team chemistry is going to be so important this year. I really don't see us having a lot of ultra egos except for Steve Smith during game day and that is okay with me so long as it is focused on the other team...in fact I would appreciate more of that type attitude.

I especially want to see them have a an attitude and a down right nasty side on defense. We have missed this in the previous several years...this needs to come back and we need it on special teams also.

This year needs to start in training camp...no more Mr. Nice guy John Fox...we need to practice hard every day and not be taking time off for good behavior...this has to be a put up or shut up year.

Go Panthers.

mlf...can we have a fund raiser and collect enough money to get you away from that avatar? That is not the NASTY streak we need!

first of all id like to say mlf, those are some major lumps to work with lol!Second Johnny fearr we dont have to play Seattle this year so u dont have to worry about that 1 buddy, third i do think that we do have a favorable schedule.we play afc north9only a 1 team division),nfc north(a no team division) and all the second place scrubs, arizona (beatem with a 43,44 year old qb, and the superbowl champs which i think their luck has ran out.it ought to be a very interesting year!       GO Panthers!
