Does anybody like Jerome Jurenovich from Sportssouth?

Thanks, BC10. I don't hear the post game too often, so I didn't know what some people didn't like about Jurenovich. You can always do what a lot of people do when the games are on FOX or ESPN and turn the sound down on tv, and put Pete and Skip (or Chip sometimes) on the radio.

Has anyone noticed that just about anyone working with Skip comes across better as an announcer than when they work with someone else? I have always liked listening to Skip do the games, whether Braves or YEARS ago when he did the Hawks games on TBS. If the game was a blowout, which back then it usually was, he would tell the audience "If you promise to support the sponsers, you can go ahead and go walk your dog now."

I have to agree with Bravochick10. If an announcer doesn't have a basic understanding of the game or the Braves in general, he should never try to pretend he does - or, even worse, make something up.

The John Smoltz incident that she mentioned is a prime example.

To me, he is a fish out of water so to speak.

He doesnt laugh much at all, when he does joke, it is lame and when I hear his voice, I cringe.

I just watch the pre game shows to see what facts I can pick up for the upcoming game, etc. I dont watch the post game at all.

I have to live with it because that is the way it is but I dont care for him doing the stints he does and I was curious what others felt.
