I play in a 12 team head to head with 4 keepers, pretty standard scoring except we do have a flex (can be RB/WR/TE).  I am definitely keeping Marion Barber of the Dallas Cowboys and Joseph Addai of the Indianapolis Colts as my 2 starting RB, but now have a dilemna..  What to do with Fred Taylor.    My two main thoughts are to A) try and trade him for either a move up in the draft or a QB, or  B) hold on to Fred Taylor and use him as my flex position.

My remaining 2007 team is as follows:

QB = Kurt Warner and Jason Campbell
RB = Ron Dayne
WR = Braylon Edwards, Steve Smith, Shaun McDonald, Kevin Walter
TE = Owen Daniels
DST = Baltimore Ravens
K = Jeff Reed

If I don't keep Taylor and can't get something for him I will most likely be keeping Braylon Edwards and Steve Smith, but am still not settled there.

Your thoughts?  I would love to see an explanation as well

To be honest I think your keepers are very easy to determine. Barber, Addai, Edwards and Smith should be your keepers outright.  What you should be concern with is at QB, Warner (whom might not start this up coming season if so maybe partime like last yr) and Campbell who hasnt really established himself as a fantasy QB stud.  So just go into the draft and try to pick up a more respectful QB.

You have no QB which even though you will be solid at RB and WR by keeping Marion Barber, Joesph Addai, Steve Smith and Braylon you still need a decent QB to contend iun your league i would even try trading Owen Daniels with Fred Taylor to possibly get a better deal

I agree with Brute Force; your 4 keepers are a slam dunk. Barber, Addai, Edwards and Smith Matt Leinart is probably going to be the starter for the Cardinals, so Warner is no help.  Jason Campbell is not a stud but should improve this year. Last year, he had only 12 TDs and 2700 yards with 11 int. Not sure how your league scores, but those 11 interceptions are -22 pts in my league.  BUT, with the addition of Devin Thomas, Fred Davis and Malcolm Kelly, Jason's numbers should come up...

I would trade Taylor in a package deal for a QB.

Goodluck, you have got 4 good keepers!

I have to agree with the logic I have been reading thus far. Your keepers are fairly easy to determine (two solid RBs and two solid WRs)...

Campbell could be worth keeping for another year to see how he and his new WRs mesh. If they mesh well you could have a great QB to go with that solid RB/WR team you've got there. You can go for a better QB in the draft for this year, but I think Campbell is gonna have a great career.

Trade Fred Taylor and try to move up in the draft to get a good young back to replace him or add another young WR to your team that could have you sitting pretty for years to come.

Jumpin on the bandwagon here.  You have a pretty obvious 4.  One other thought is that if you trade for a QB straight up you can give up Fred Taylor and Steve Smith.  Heck, throw in Owen Daniels, all you need is the obvious 3 and a QB.
