i see we landed another recruit from texas----will secord from wakefeild i beleive.....any takers on his abilities..........info would be helpful...........
also does anyone know of a kicker from.....west memphis/marion arkansas,,,,i know for a fact he nailed a 53 yarder on natural grass,,,hs a good kid ,grades and all......i think his name is,,,apaoul henrik,,,,,,,,,,,,gotta look that up to make sure,,,,,,,,,,,,,i know hes worth at least a look from the boys on the hill.................

Secord is a 5 star from what i saw on maxprep, their team did real good this last season. he is also seems to be good in baseball also.

I haven't heard all that much about recruiting news. We really need a kicker. The freshman kicker from last started out great but had some troubles late in the year.

Sorry HogHeaven152 your right. I went back and looked and he does have 5 stars but none of them were lite up. lol, I guess will have to see what he does his Sr.
as a Jr. he was 59% passing, for 2000yds, 23 TDs, 5 ints.
but he did not even rate a 1 star.

Quite frankly, it is strange, yet refreshing to hear about QB prospects at the U of A for a change. Between football and basketball, I think this will be the most exciting year we have had in a while. Now that the Nutt regime is finally over, we can try our hand at something a little higher possibly. Either way, I can hardly wait...

Don't concern yourself too much with a lack of rating from Scouts.com at this point in time. All athletes have not been evaluated and rated by Scouts.com. For example: 2-3 weeks ago Scouts had Darius Winston-West Helena, AR listed as a 1-star athlete they evaluated him and he is now a 5-star athlete. Colby Berna-Fayetteville is currently listed as a 1-star because he has yet to be evaluated by Scouts. Look for movement during the summer (i.e. 7-on-7, Combines, Camps)...

the stars sure make all teams look better in the national spotlight...but as we all know,,its the heart,,,and coaching that makes um great ball players,,,,,,,,
also when does --scout--evaluate all players ,,,,or is it just when they feel like it??

I know you won't like hearing this but from what i been reading Mustain has been looking real good for U$C. I know sanchez is the starter at this point but like i said mustain must be right on his butt.
