This was meant to be a hoax and appear as a Witchhunt the entire time just to 'pacify' us in the public who know the Pats got off EASY.  This is a huge PR stunt to shift focus off of the Cheatriots and onto a former employee who Kraft probably paid a lot of money to do this. You have to remember, this is the NFL and the Cheatriots we're dealing with...If Walsh was a legitimate witness from the get go, the NFL wouldn't be playing so cool and Belichick would have had to resign.

This is simply something the NFL is doing so they don't have to show the public the real material that would further incriminate the Cheaters.  Because if that was the case, Roger Goodall would look REALLY REALLY BAD for going lax on what the Cheaters actually did.  But we already know the guy is a hypocrite.  He likes to punish certain people for their personal failures outside of football and just give wrist slaps to those he has ties to.
So, just like Scooter Libby, Walsh has become the scapegoat for trying to bring more 'justice' to the Cheating Organization while the real criminals get away with little  to no reprucussions for what got them to win 3 Superbowls ALL in the final minutes, along with those AFC Championships.
