Purdue's continuing to go small this year in recruiting. Three guards are coming in. The first two sound decent. Jackson sounds like he can step right in easily. John Hart from Beech Grove comes from Class 3A in Indiana, now thats not in a very high rated division in HS basketball.  I wonder if he'll be another Riddell, riding the bench?

hart is really athletic! I think he averaged 20 points or close to it! GOOD FIT! plays well within a system!  He will probably ride the bench for a while though!  He is better than marcus green imo!

Hart is no Riddell, Riddell is a walk-on that was just needed when he got to Purdue. I hope Hart is as good as the other recruits that Painter has brought in.

since he was just sitting around and no one else was interested in him, he doesn't sound like he'll be very good. But hey, Matt Painter found some nice freshmen since he's been at purdue. Hope this season attracts some big men the season after... I'm sure Painter has it planned in mind.

I guess he is one of the best athletes in that class.  I believe he is going to be a decent player.  By the way, wasn't Buckets a walk-on player, not a scholarship player?  I believe that is a huge difference between the two players.

yea bobby was a walk-on
Jeff robinson has a verbal to play for purdue next year   from LN 6-9 205. word is he has put on some weight since they weighed him last(lol) he's a 3 star recruit acording to scout.com
also purdue offered a schlorship to Jamil Wilson PF. he is the #2 PF and the #9 overall player in the 09 class! he is super athletic! he hasn't commited yet though! he has a ton of major offers like arizona, kansas, Indiana, USC, wisconsin, ohio state, and michigan state! this would be a major land!

A top 10 recruit? If that's true, I hope that happens. Matt Painter will have coin tosses for every game who starts, lol.

I have only heard and read good things about Hart, though not as good as the guys from last year it will add depth to the bench with the loss of our only senior guard. As we Boiler fans, and the rest of the nation know, we really need a big inside impact player. If we can get one and match them up with JJ then the B11 will be ours for a few years!
