"But Dice K is 6-0 and he's overpaid? OK I do agree that he is overpaid but what more can you ask for?"
No,no,no, i didn't say Dice-k was overpaid, i said you overpaid for him. meaning the posting fee.
actually i think his contract was reasonable, especiall seeing how it doesn't factor into lux tax.

You made this statement, right? Looks like it would imply that I said Farnsworth was good doesn't it? You see that is what "turning into" means it means well he's not there yet but he is on the right path. Again with the repeating myself...
OK next time I'll be specific
"Find me a Yankee fan that thinks Farnsworth is any decent at all"
Yeah normally the word is "good" not "decent." Good in that form can range from completely horrible to CY Young.
I think you looking for this: "Find me a Yankee fan that thinks Farnsworth is good"
Good try though
Manny Delcarmen, Mike Timlin, Craig Hansen take your pick 2 of them double Farnsworth's ERA and one is working on tripling it.
Well next time I'm in line for a GM job offer I'll make it 1st priority to cut those players
If this is all you have left just stop now because all your doing is putting words in my mouth, and twisting my sentences to make you sound more credible

So the pot calls the kettle black
"Find me a Yankee fan that thinks Farnsworth is any decent at all"
No, it should be "Find me a Yankee fan that thinks Fransworth IS TURNING INTO A DECENT 7TH INNING GUY" Not that he is good now or decent now but he is getting there you would think if I typed the same thing 4 times you might understand it

well I'm out tomorrow we can discuss how win/loss is the most important stat and how the Red Sox bullpen wouldn't have a need for Fransworth.

Not really....I've taken everything you've said and proved you wrong with stats
Your just a complete fool who thinks wins aren't important

He's turning into nothing, you'll still find no one who thinks he's becoming decent, he's prven time and time again that he's nothing more than a bust
Every pitcher has a good streak once in a while.....do you know how long he's been in the league? 10 years.....Find me a guy who started becoming "decent" after 10 years
Point proven.....

The Sox bid 50 million dollars, Yanks bid was somewhere in the 30 mil range, and about 10 million from the rest of the pack.
Then I'd say the Yankees finally short changed their fans. $25 million more would have given you 15 wins-probably more last year behind the Yanks offense-from your #3 spot after Wang and Pettitte. You would have won the East, if not more, with him in your rotation last season.

Well paydirt just got back on the board today and this was included in his very first post:
- "The Yankee bullpen is really, really, really good..........I wont even mention Joba and MO, but if anyone hasnt noticed, Farnsworth has been pretty damn good in the 7th inning role"
So there is one for you Santanasback aside from myself
So since you "claim" to have refuted all of my claims with stats please explain to me how Tim Wakefield was a better pitcher last year than Johan Santana, I mean he did win 2 more games and loss 1 less so he must have been better by your assessment, correct?
Also explain to me how you wouldn't want a 7th inning guy with a 3 era on your team when every 7th inning guy that you currently have has doubled that era. Stands to reason that if the person you are currently using has an ERA of 6 replacing him with somebody with an ERA of 3 would be a major upgrade no?
I will await your statistical refutes of these two key talking points...
