	Does anyone know if Ryan Theriot has the go ahead to run on his own? He is flat out not a base stealer. He just got thrown out for a league leading 7th time and need to be told to stop running. It seems to me like the times he has been successful running is because of a bad throw.

	should have been his 9th time out too b/c there are 2 times that he got the beniefit of the doubt when he slid into 2nd. He has the most speed it seems on this team, but can't read a pitcher and gets perhaps the worst jumps i've ever seen... i think he only has a stealing percentage of .500 so I'd say slow him down a bit but not to stop and start stealing with Pie, Soriano, Fukudome, and Johnson who could all steal too.

	getting thorwn out 7 times in 15 attempts this year is not good, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt right now. 41 for 47 prior to this year is REALLY good. Can he be in a"slump" in basestealing? or, is he just slower? OR, has he just run into a bit of bad luck? If he has lost a step and can't steal bases as well, it may be time to give Cedeno a chance, becasue Theriot's base stealing ability is one of his best abilities. if he doesn't have that, he's can become very average.

	Theriot's strides are way too small, that's why he's getting thrown out. It should take him eight strides and a slide to get there, and it's taking more than that right now. His jumps have also been terrible. While he's reacting in good time, his feet just aren't getting going. Bob Dernier needs to work with him.
