Not to throw the my devistating family curse on him, but LIDGE is a STUD! I thought of this (and I am sure I was the first to think of this ("sarcasm" look it up before trashing me)) as I was watching the Phils highlights on sports center. In the win, Lidge struck out the side to save the game. Didn't even mention his name. Guy is 1-0, 9/9 in saves, and has a 0.00 ERA in 19 innings. 0.00! It will be fun to track the trade that brought the 2nd Astros "was once a stud, but blah blah blah he's no good anymore even though he led the majors in strike-out-to-walk ratio" closer to the loving embracement of the warm Philly fan base. If Lidge stays dead nasty, he might enjoy himself here. Although Costanza won't do squat in the majors at 3rd (maybe better suited to DH, as he had like twenty errors at Otawa or Reading or Leigh, Bourny is looking legit.
