Cliff Floyd could be back as soon as this Sunday's game against the Angles.  This return could get the bats going, not just because of his own ability, but because he adds another power bat into the lineup that can prtect Longoria, the lineup looks good on paper, but they have not really got it going yet.  Pena and Aki have shown signs of getting out of there slumps, while both Crawford and Upton are not hitting poorly but not hitting as well as they can be.  Navarro has been great though and so has Hinske, and hopefully Bartlett is working out of his season long slump.  Floyd coming back is great news because I really think it will get the lineup going, and the only thing they are lacking now is hitting.  Potential lineup with Floyd:

Aki

Crawford

Upton

Pena

Longoria

Floyd

Navarro

Hinske

Bartlett

This could be changed, Floyd and Hinske could switch places but I assume they will keep the switch hitting Navarro between them, and I assume they will keep the right handed bat of Longoria at #5, they could switch Upton and Pena again like they originally had and move Longoria down to #6.  Thoughts?

I think that your pretty close to the lineup, but Im thinking they will put Floyd behind Navarro. Narvarro is still on a tear and I would assume if he keeps the pace they would want a duck on the pond for Floyd. The rest is pretty solid, and Penas swing has looked alot better the last 3 games or so, and watching him run tonight, the gimp is out of his step. I am concerned that they didnt let him rest the hammy a bit more before bringing him back, but then again we needed him in the lineup just for the fear factor. Im thinking with Floyd back we may see Pena get some more rest, heal the hammy all the way and sacrifice a little here for a lot later on in the year. I dont like the Pena/Upton switch especially if Pena continues to dig out of his slump.
