Yeah, last night's game was a bummer - as well as the Jazz played, I really thought the Lakers had their chances to steal this game a couple of times last night. We gave up too many 2nd and 3rd opportunities and let them off the hook a bunch of times. Even that jump ball at the end that slipped out of Luke's hands could've been the difference (yikes, did you guys catch Kobe's evil eye to Luke after that!)
I love how ESPN characterized the Jazz win as a "wallop"!!! LOL, give me a break. As badly as the Lakers played - and let's face it, this was pretty much as it gets - I thought the Lakers had a pretty good chance to win the game. I look for a much more resilient Laker squad tomorrow. There is no way we're going to allow Boozer and Okur to duplicate the games they had again tomorrow (although the prospect of Milsap going off for them is a distinct possibility if we're not careful and Boozer or Okur struggle).
Pau needs to step things up moving forward - he looks a little passive out there. I'm not seeing the fire and the confidence that was in evidence early on when he first joined the team back in February - and I'm not sure why. Also, Fisher cannot get into foul trouble early - that hurt us. As much as I love Farmar, I don't think he is any real match for Deron Williams - the Lakers are much better served keeping Fisher on him as much as possible.
GO LAKERS!
