Unless the Mets fall far behind (over 10 games) I think he will be here for the season. If they don't make the playoffs, then there is a good chance either he or Minaya, or both, are gone.

Not recently, but there is always the game tonight, unless it is rained out.
Do you guys still want Lastings Milledge back?
Have you seen Church play, or seen his numbers? we don't miss Lastings at all...and that is without Schneider doing anything yet, Church has more then covered that trade so far.
Did Jose B. Reyes learn a new dance or will he actually hit something other than mistake pitches?
He has been so inconsistent it is killing me, but I think he is looking better lately and his average is creepoing back up....unlike the 2 Carloses who both continue to look lost.
Did David Wright win his appeal about shortening the distance between 3B and 1B?
As long as he keeps flashing the glove like he did out West last week we can put up with an errant throw here and there....it would help if he regained his swing.
Did Carlos Delgado figure out Canseco's phone number so he can get directions to the fountain of youth?
Might not hurt...although he has looked better then last year, hopefully he heats up with the weather and can hit his 30 hrs.
Did Moises Alou also call Jose Canseco for the same reason to help his nuts?
Did you see that steal of home? If he can stay in the lineup he will be fine.
Will Oliver Perez stop screwing me in fantasy baseball by actually pitching well instead of hosting a walk-a-thon?
Hopefully Wagner calling him out will set him straight.

You would certainly like him to get some wins when he pitches well, but for a notoriously slow starter he looks pretty good so far. Hopefully the team picks him up or he could get frustrated.
Will Omar Minaya ever make a great move that was under the radar and didn't take common sense to do?
Do we have to go over this again? Were the deals for Maine, Perez, Sanchez, etc. not enough for you. Stop focusing on the one or two that didn't work out and look at the 7 or 8 that did.

we all knew it wouldn't last, but he held out long enough for Alou to come back, which is all we wanted.

I don't think it as much the Met fans but the characterization of them from the writers, radio hosts and blogs. that Delgado situation was typical. He was given a standing O his first at bat the next game, after everyone declared him person non-grata among Met fans. Clueless, and one of the downfalls of hacing the coverage from a big city.
