Well the writing is on the wall and what a sad time it is to be a Suns fan.
I hope we don't go back to the style of play we had before Nash and D'Antoni and after Kevin Johnson, Charles Barkley and Paul Westphal. I remember falling asleep during the Jason Kidd/ Stefan Marbury years.
Coach D'antoni, thank you for bringing SHOWTIME back to the NBA. Your Seven Seconds OR LESS(S.S.O.L). style is amazing and trully a breakthough in modern professional sports. In an era when teams were scoring 70-80 pts a game, you came on the scene and produced a magical display of heart, teamwork and SPEED and scoring that all equalled WINS!!
S.S.O.L. will live on. I hope that you continue to dominate the league(look at the Suns Eastern Conference Record over the past 4 years you definatly can dominate the East)and win a Championship in the near future. I wish Sarver wouldn't have been so cheap, he passed up a golden opportunity to have a Dynasty and now is cutting off his nose to spite his face.
Thanks again for rekindling my love of the NBA and helping the entire league out of the downward spiral they were heading in.

I am so glad he if finally gone! He is a descent coach, I'm being generous with that comment. The style he implemented was good and what the NBA needed at the time. He's more of an assistant coach, with his slumber parties he has with the players. He couldn't come through in the most important games, always getting out coach. Look at the Suns playoff record under D'Antoni, a measly 26-25. Sorry but you can't win a championship with that record, whether it be in the Western or Eastern conference. Ciao Mike!
ps The Knicks are still taking our unwanted!

I totally agree with you Red Devil. Those jerks who say D'antoni was a bad coach should go climb back in whatever hole they crawled out of. We made the playoffs every year for petes sake! Just think of the money the Suns made by selling out every game and the TV networks ratings when the Suns played!
I tried to watch the Celtics-Cavs game today and finally changed the channel due to boredom. Is this the style of games that are coming for the suns? Boring, unwatchable?
Had that Jerk Kerr left the Suns player roster alone this season, I know for a fact we would still be in the playoffs. I think everybody forgot we beat the Spurs on their turf Dec 17th with this roster. We most likely would have won the the highest seed and had home-court advantage all through the playoffs.
Kerr doesn't have the experience, knowledge or wisdom to put a good team together. Well Jerry, kiss your money goodbye, Kerr will cost you million$ in lost revenue!
Thank you Mike D'Antoni for giving all my friends, family and me so much entertainment and fun over the last 4 years. You will be missed!

wow that was quick! You guys were ready to crown him and his s.s.o.l. style as the greatest thing since slice bread last year. Wasn't it obvious you would never win anything w/ horrible defense??? Can't wait until right around the all-star break next year when you will be pleading Shaq leaves also!!!
Now I hear Brian Shaw is gaining consideration for the head gig... trying to scoop up the remnants of the 3 peat Lakers squad of the early 00's? I hear Ri | |
