But Minor league records are a terrible way to judge young talent

ANny farm system that can churn out the likes of Darryl Rasner and Kei Igawa is CLEARLY a force to be reckoned with. Do you want to rethink including Kei Igawa in that statement? And Rasner will be fine, it's just early in his career.

I was just going by the title. Now I see that it is the best talent in the minors. I was gonna say they also have the best talent on the DL. They always do. They sure know who to sign.

Phil Hughes, Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy, Darrel Rasner, Kei Igawa, Andrew Brackman, Alan Horne, Jeff Marquez, Ross Ohlendorf.....Regardless of where they are...minors or Majors, the Yankees young talent is very good!

yep, the best. hughes and kennedy are awesome.
many of their other "young pitchers" are 25 or over. not so young for minor leagues.

You aren't going to make much of a strong argument of the first five as far as their current situations go, besides Joba.

Phil Hughes, rocked in Majors, injured very often.

Ian Kennedy, rocked in Majors, sent down to Minors.

Darrel Rasner, good in one start, but was close to Phil Hughes level last year.

Kei Igawa,
