You promise to sell someone a car.  You set a price and a time to meet up at your house to exchange cash for the car.  The buyer shows up and you are not there, but he can see the car in the garage.  Therefore he surmises that you had a deal for the car so he forces open your garage and takes the car.   How big of a crime do you think that is?
Not even close.

I'll give you trespassing. But not grand theft. Towing a car does not make it the property of the towing company. He was taking his car, and I don't blame him. I have had to wait 4 hours for one of those guys. They are a joke, and good for him for not taking that crap.

And a burglery charge over $75? That's petty.

As for whether a DUI is more serious than smoking dope...that remains to be seen and that too could be debated
You can't honestly be serious about this.

THUGS AND HOODS!!!  Even Miami has more class guns than the SEC schools.  FSU might is be the worst.

Please tell me this is tounge in cheek coming from an LSU fan?I stand by my statement!  We have not had any off the field issues since the last one. Tecnically, the RP situation was more of a "communication abberation" that an issue.

So when was the communication problem? The counterfeiting ring, the fake ID incident, or the failed drug test?

I actually like Miles, but maybe he needs a hearing aid or better cell phone service if the RP problem was just a "communication abberation."

Not even close.

it is the same crime.

Towing a car does not make it the property of the towing company.

It doesnt make it the towing company's property, but it is in their legal posession.  Therefore even the registered owner would be stealing the car if he took it without it being released by the towing company.

He was taking his car, and I don't blame him

Actually it was his girlfriends car.

I have had to wait 4 hours for one of those guys. They are a joke, and good for him for not taking that crap.

I dont care if he had to wait 4 days.  He had no legal right to break into the lot and steal the car.  The next thing you are going to say is that he was going to come back later and pay the fine right?

The next thing you are going to say is that he was going to come back later and pay the fine right? Uhhh....yeah!

What kind of homer would I be if I assumed that he was going to stiff the guy? Our choir boys have such consciences that they could never live with themselves if they stiffed a tow company for the extortion fee they charge. In fact, I believe that he wasn't actually going to leave. He was just saving the guy the trouble of having to get the car for him. So he was going to have the car already waiting to go when the guy finally showed up. See? A completely altruistic motive, for sure.....
