Let me fill you in Jimmy. In G'ville, they allow Roam Towing. A company can tow cars without being called. They have a reputation for being overzealous in their jobs, and a lot of times they tow a car that they had no right to tow. You call the company, tell them why they shouldn't have towed you, and they say "come get it."
Joiner called the owner of the company, the owner said to go get the car. The guy working the office at the lot didn't know the owner had given him permission. These guys are public enemy #1 anyways, so as long as Joiner had permission of the owner, he sure as hell wasn't listening to this jerkwad driver. So Joiner took the car, the driver called the cops, and the owner had to straighten it out in the morning when the cops finally bothered to check with him.
