Watching the games last night, I just noticed how deep some of the benches of these playoff teams are.  The Celtics have KG, Paul P, Ray Allen who are superstars but they also have guys like James Posey, Sam Cassell, and PJ Brown who once were superstars and now are key role players.  The Hornets have guys like Chris Paul, David West, and Peja but they also have guys who come off the bench and produce like former Trail Blazer Bonzi Wells and Mo Peterson.  And the Spurs always have a deep bench  with players like sharp shooter Brent Barry and Mr. Clutch Robert Horry.  The Lakers have a solid starting 5 but really dont have a deep bench.  I think out of the three out of four teams I listed, one of those teams will win the the finals. I think if the LAkers make the finals, they will have to get great performances from Kobe and Pau every night to win. Who do think has the deepest team?

Where have you been this season? Any fans knows that the Lakers have, if not the top, a top 3 bench. We play 10-11 guys every night that contribute.

If I remember correctly the Lakers have the highest scoring bench, if not top 3 in that category. If you are talking about deepest I feel it is the Lakers. 6-10 they have really good bench players.PJ Brown and Posey were never really superstars, and Cassell was a good player in his days. The Celtics do have a pretty good bench too. The Spurs have a good bench too because Manu comes off the bench. But that does not make them a good bench, that makes their 6th man good, the rest of their bench is not much.
