WOW...I decided to go explore ESPN and CBS to see what people think about this series....and I gotta say I am very surprised.  I found one quote that said,"Even after seeing how well the Lakers played last night, I don't think they will win the series."  Now I know there are fans out there that believe in their teams, but be realistic.  Don't shoot for a different universe saying that... the series is done IF the Lakers do not lose focus and with Kobe on the verge of doing what mike did (MVP, NBA champ, Champ MVP, Olympics gold)  he will not lose focus and that is a promise.  I also found that most "analyzers" said that the Lakers would take the series in 7 games. 7 games? They are even saying that San Ant is gonna win in 6....what....where are these guys getting these things from.  Are they talking out of their ass'.   What they are probably doing is looking at their season stats and accomplishments.  the Jazz had only four losses at home...ok, but this is the playoffs and anyone who has watched the NBA playoffs for ten or more years can tell you that the postseason is 20x more different than the season.  so far the jazz are 2-1 at home in the post season.  if they were the dominant force like the "analyzers" say they are...they would have finished the Rockets in 4 not 6.  They say the reason it will go to 7 is because Boozer still has not got back on track and williams is slacking.  ok...those are some good things to work on, but did they forget about the lakers.  even thought the lake show has been winning does not mean everything is perfect.  1.) Rebounding- out of the 82 games played the lake show won 75 of them in rebounding.  why is that not a factor...they have been winning without grabbing the boards.  what about them stepping that up. 2.) The lack of a dominent bench-  our bench has lost both games against the Jazz's.  what about that?  who's to say Farmar and Turiaf (Vujacic has been decent) wont step it up like Boozer and Williams.  Lets not forget that Farmar has potential to score 20 points in 20 minutes and turiaf can grab 10 rebounds.  Im just saying if you are going to size up one team you have to do the other.  yeah the Jazz have things to work on, but so do the Lakers.   Oh holy crap alomst forgot 3.) comeback- duh...Ariza.  he will be the best defender on the floor after kobe who will shut down linko and williams inside drive.  that is of course if we see a game five cuz he wont be back sooner than that.  Lake show ill win it in 5.  I said one seed in the beginning of season when bynum was hitting it.  I said sweep when it was said lake show would play nuggs.  and now I am saying 5 games and well see the horns in the west champ.    LETS GO LAKE SHOW

Agreed. If the Jazz are so good at home, they would not have lost to the Rockets and swept that series.

It's not just about match ups but the Lakers did pick up their intensity during the playoffs.

People were saying that the Lakers swept the Denver series because Denver doesn't play defense.  Maybe they missed the part that the Lakers played great defense.  Denver won 50 games in a very tough Western Conference.  They have a better record than the Cavs who are seeded 4th in the lowly East.

So people need to give a little more credit to what the Lakers have accomplished and speak from their mind not from their a$$.

well said LV.   very nice.  I gotta say that the Lake show could lose tonight if they think that they can take it without working.  I gotta also say it depends on what kobe says and does this game.  if he gets this team hype...then chalk up a 7th consecutive win for the lake show this post season.  I expect a big game from Farmar and TUriaf.  Turiaf  8 pts and 7 reb.  farmar 16 pts 5 ast.  If we can then we will win.  also 42-37 rebound game...we win if turiaf shows up and odom does his job.  lets go LAKE SHOW.
