AUBURN CAN MAKE A GOOD CASE THAT THEY ARE THE TEAM TO BEAT IN THE WEST.ITS GREAT THAT THEY MIGHT SLIP UNDER SOME EXPERTS RADAR.TODD OR BURNS WILL BE A STRONG Q.B. IN FRANKLINS SYSTEM.AN IMPROVEMENT FROM COX..LESTER,TATE AND FANNIN ARE ALL S.E.C. QUALITY BACKS.OUR BIG LOSS ON DEFENSE WAS GROVES,BUT COLEMAN OUT PLAYED HIM LAST YEAR SO OUR DEFENSE WILL BE SOLID.AND WITH L.S.U. BEING WITHOUT PERRILLOUIX AND A SEC QUALITY HEAD COACH,IT SEEMS ALABAMAS TRUE FRESHMAN MAY BE OUR BIGGEST TEST.AS LONG AS SABAN PLAYS WILSON AUBURN SHOULD BE IN GREAT SHAPE.I THINK GEORGIA IS THE TEAM TO BEAT IN THE CONFRENCE BUT ILL BET AUBURN WILL BE THE TEAM PLAYING THEM IN ATLANTA...

I agree, if Auburn plays up to their potential they should be making a trip to ATL this year.  I haven't been this excited about an Auburn team in years.

Georgia is definately the toughest game on the schedule, but we owe them a beating after the last two seasons.  If the Auburn players are half as fired up about UGA as I am, I think the dawgs will get what's coming to them.  WDE!

Regardless of how we finish in the SEC this year, I think 2008 will be a great year to be an Auburn fan!!!

Auburn has a good shot at taking the SEC West.  We might have to see UGA twice with the CG in Atlanta.  I'm thinking UGA or Florida will take the SEC East, either one will give us a good game.  I would rather lose to UGA in the regular season and get the win in the CG.

Boy I'd really hate to lose to UGA at home heading into the Iron Bowl, but given your scenario I'd take it.  I wanted to throw up in my mouth last year when I was in the upper deck over there and their players were doing that Soldier Boy dance in the third quarter.  Can you imagine though loosing to them then having to beat Bama to go to Atlanta?  We'd be so pissed and hopefully try and take it all out on Bama.  First things first though, we have to worry about playing over in Starkville and getting revenge on them first.  Then come home and get revenge on LSU after that heartbreaker.  There is no reason our players shouldn't be "up" for every game after last year.  Gone are the days of "gimmies" or "easy wins" in this conference.  As Coach TT says we really have to take it game by game and go from there.  Should be a lot of fun this fall and it will be hopefully filled with solid wins and less squeakers.  WDE!!

AUski I agree, how about we just beat down UGA twice this season to make up for the last two years?

Oh yeah I hope we can actually beat our achilles heal (UGA) this year. I don't know if I could handle another loss from them. Yes, UGA looks to have the most talented team in the east this year, but can they really handle that brutal schedule? I love the fact that they play LSU then AU. I think everyone may be surprised to see Florida emerge as the winners of the east and AU the winner of the west. But regardless of the speculation, this season has the makings of a great one.

Just because you have won 6 straight I wouldn't get too cocky here...

I don't suppose we'll be needing any advice from Oregon Ducks fans.  Besides, it's not cocky if you back it up.

WDE!

How was that comment being cocky??  How does "hopefully" sound cocky?? I could see if words such as "we will be Bama" or "there's no way we're going to lose" could sound cocky...but "hopefully"?
