They should keep the NFL out of it, and go directly to a federal prosecutor.  This is a federal crime --since the NFL is a nationwide organization.  Keep it away from the prosecutors in Boston and New York City, because they are biased and can be influenced.  The NFL would like to hide this fiasco as much as the Pats would --especially after how they originally covered-it-up, and what they did with the first evidence. 

One other note: They do not say that the Rams Superbowl walk-through tape "did not exist" --they only said that "it was not forwarded to the NFL with these 8 tapes."  Be careful not to be suckered by the language that they use.  It is also important to note that Walsh has already had a meeting with the NFL Comissioner --so who knows what kind of deal was struck there?  I'd be willing to bet the farm that there was a buy-out of some kind.
