Hey just a curious buckeye fan here wanting to know more about the teams around the big ten. I am hoping for the big ten to re-establish itself as a true power. While I dont buy the crap that the big ten is weak I do know ive seen better days of football for our conference. I have read things saying that PSU, illinois, wisky, and MSU are bringing back pretty good teams and I know OSU is as well, as for michigan i def think they can crack the top 25 depending on how well RR builds the team this summer the talent is still there.. Just hoping for a little input from you all.

I like the look of our team this year and we will be very competitive!  The D-line will be our strength!  The D overall could be exceptional, especially by the time we get OSU at home!  Offensively, Juice needs to pick up where he left off.  If Benn is healthy, we have an outstanding reciever corps (first since Brandan Lloyd and Moorehead et al.)  The O-line should be very good w/ the incoming recruits and the guys who injured now stepping up in the fall.  RB is a questionmark w/ many possible answers, but losing Mendenhall hurts.  I think our offense will still go but look for more quick dumps to Benn and QB keepers.  Kicking.  I dunno.  Reda is a big loss and I have no idea what type of punting game we will have.  This will be the big ????? going into this season.

We also have a brutal schedual with Missou right out of the gate.  I like our matchup w/ them if it were midseason, but our Offense needs to gel immediately or we will get smacked around.  That should be a high scoring game.  OSU is by far the toughest game on the schedual, but we get them (you) at home.  Wisconsin, Penn St., and Michigan are all road games, but all winnable.  I see us at 8 wins with a potential to step up as high as 10.  I don't see us beating Mizzou and OSU both.  Win one of those and this is a good year.  Win 2 out of 3 of the road games and this is a great (maybe BCS) type year!

I agree with what you're saying.  I think the running game will be OK if Benn and the other receivers play well. enough to keep the D honest.  With Jason gone, the kicking game will be suspect until it gets tested a few times.
