what a HECK of an ending to the game.  The Royals missed tying the game up by a few inches (however, the Royals fireworks crew jump the gun a little bit and shot off some fireworks when the ball never went out).

Sherrill got another save..............the bats were there.............nice base running, and Olson pitched another GREAT game.  I dont care if its against the Royals..........we have a chance to sweep the series, and come home .500 on this road series.  You cant ask for much for a .500 10 game road series.

Is there any doubt Luis Hernandez plays better defense at 2B? I just watched all the video's they have on MLB Gameday and he had some great catches in the soggy field.

Great job by the boys tonight and lets hope they can go out their today and take the sweep.

I saw a clip of that near home run by Billy Butler. That was a wild finish.

For info on Roberts:  ESPN says that he is day-to-day (sigh of relief!) 

Man, I was watching the game on gameday, and I saw that pitch go right down the middle to Billy Butler and then the little blue circle popped up saying in play run(s).  I freaked for about 30 seconds because it is so slow, then realized it was a double.  Great win by the O's!!!

Watching that game was crazy. It was a freaking monsoon!!!! Great win. Let's take the sweep today!

Orioles home page says that we have beat the Royals 12 straight times. Thats crazy!
