Your worth is less than that of garbage.

I am getting so sick of this BS of we only sign Latin players.  Ryan Church & Brian Schneider are not.

The GM's job is to have the best roster possible and if that means we get some transvestite from Argentina to replace Delgado so be it!

Do you want the Mets to win or do you want to bring back the color barrier?

DaJetsGuy   Well said, I still would like the view from the other side.

Anyway this kid is already making a great name for himself.  Mind you I was wondering some of the same things about Santana referencing Pedro, but it is a different situation.  One of the things that killed us we lost both Pedro and ElDuque early and at the same time.  Nelson Figueroa has been doing more than I expected from him.  So I will not Complain.

Our Bats are definitely the issue right now.  If you take away the 3 games where we gave up over 10 runs, one due to errors and 2 due to Perez and his arbitration screw up, then we are looking on track and then some with SP.  So let me see should we call for Santana's head or Perez?  I guess if I am a RACIST I call for them both.

We do need to get rid of Delgado eventually and get a big bat 1B.  The thing is we have Wright and Church keeping a decent pace in the HR race.  Beltran and Delgado are suppose to be our big bats and they are both far from catching Church and Wright.  We do lack power, but it doesn't matter when you are on the bottom of the list in BA.   But lets call for our best Pitcher, in NYMets... defense toward racist he did say something good about Gomez.  So what he hit for the cycle.  He is still batting under.290 is green and we all knew he was going to do good.  We all knew we needed pitching more than Gomez.  So what would have been better with both Pedro and ElDuque going down?  A SP staff with Maine, Perez (Oh Boy), Pelfrey (hasn't got a full season under his belt), Figs(do I need to comment) and then Humber?  What an imposing pitching staff there.  And if I can recall I think Pagan has done enough so far to make up for Gomez, especially when you consider us starting Santana instead of Humber, who by the way isn't doing so hot in the minors.

But hey I guess he knows baseball.  20Years old, no offense to those 20 years old and contribute well, but yes you still have some maturing to do.  Learn all the intricacies and read your posts and think about them before you spew ignorance and then argue just to prevent yourself from recanting.  It is not bad to say OK maybe I was wrong let me rethink this, take responsibility and cowtail.  You would get more respect that way.  We can't always be right.

nymets59 is just trying to get a rise out of everyone. no one can be that dumb.

with that being said, i have said it before, wright need to make an adjustment if he is going to be that .300 plus hitter. right now he can't hit a tailing away slider to save his life. he must know its coming with two strikes, b/c i certainly do, yet he keeps swinging and missing. pitchers know how to picth him and i beleive thats why his numbers are down.

We need a new Batting coach want the job.  Maybe you can get Reyes to be a little more patient and teach Beltran how to hit the sweeping curve.  We could also use someone to teach Delgado how to compensate for his age, like leaving the outside of the plate to the pitcher and back up to give himself more room on the inside pitch.  I guess those are the biggest issues right now.  We can fine tune the small stuff later.
