Is it just me or have there been a plethera of blown calls this year at the plate for us.

I know we have out share of dumb base running mistakes but the blown calls at the plate are killing me.  How hard is it to get into position to see the right call?

one would hope that at some point they would even out.....but they never seem to...i think the fact that we have been bad for so long has something to do with it...if we start winning we might get some more respect and the benefit of some calls.....but i can think of one that did go in our favor that won us a game.....dioner navarro against Clay Buchholz....buchholz threw him a 2 strike curve that was definately strike three....even our announcers couldnt believe the ump didnt ring him up....he singled on the next pitch and with 2 outs Akinori Iwamura hits a 2 run game winning homer....that he doesnt get a chance to hit if navarro was called out on strikes like he should have been......we always remember the ones that go against us...gotta remember the ones that go our way too though......

Very True I saw that one as well.  I have seent them go both ways but I still think there are way too many of them this year.  Hopefully the calls improve as the season progresses .
