	on first take he admitted to cheering for the pats during the superbowl and Im betting people will make a big deal of it..if not good..but I just wantd to say he did it because of brandon merriweather whose a former teammate and his friend and that says alot about his character he seems like a good guy and Im liking the pick more and more now I jsuthave to see how he does on the pro level and Im sold

	If Phillips wants to cheer for the Patriots, fine. It's his prerogative. I'm sure he wasn't feeling good about his "better team" losing to the Giants so he would root against them in the Superbowl. So be it. He certainly won't be rooting for the Cowboys anytime soon, at least until he's no longer the coach there.

	Luka bro he meant Kenny Phillips was rooting for the Patriots over the Giants, not Wade Phillips, though he probly was too.

	Phillips was a bum and a waste of talent anyway, who cares if he was rooting against the Giants. Oh wait I'm sorry, I thought you meant Lawrence Phillips. I personally don't care if he was rooting against the Giants. He wasn't on the team yet, so it's not like he had any connection to them yet.
